More experimentation with clay. This time we wanted some groovy beads to make more bugs!

They have been fired and then glazed but we couldn’t use a clear glaze to make them all shiny as they would have stuck to the kiln. Apparently you cant prop them up on anything either because everything that goes in the kiln burns up! Might experiment with a clear varnish but for these beasties I think the mat finish work well.

We found a really flexible purple wire at the Japanese shop where everything is $2.95 so that was fun to use. No legs on this one as it’s in its pupae stage apparently!
