Here is a simple option for a individual child.
It’s also nice to have a group activity, especially if you are making the bin for everyone to use.
Flatten a large cereal box by creasing the middle of each of the larest sides.
Make it into a hexagon shape and trace the hexagon onto a piece of cardboard. Cut it out to make the base.
You can use large sticky labels if you have an excess or the traditional strips of paper and glue to cover the box. A simple white background to start.
Then you can decorate it with stickers or pictures cut out of wrapping paper.
Cover the whole bin with a layer of watery glue to protect it.
One beautiful recycled bin for paper recycling!
