I have been gathering natural items for this activity for a while now and have a good selection of feathers, seed pods, seeds, shells, bark, sticks, leaves and dried flowers.

I’ve found these airtight cake trays are a good way to keep the clay moist in between use.

Keep each piece for at least a week before you try to transport it. While they are drying display them around your room and they may inspire others to have a go or another go!

Children are fascinated to hear about how the indigenous people use these natural items in their every day lives.
